The Hoosiers on Partridge

So we moved into our new home a little over a month ago and I think we have already made our mark on the neighborhood. You see our street is very quiet, all the yards are in mint condition, everyone parks in their garage and when their garage is open for the very briefest of time, it is clean and organized. We, on the other hand, are none of the above.

When we are outside, you know it along with the rest of Edwardsville. We have a little boy who is potty training and absolutely LOVES to pee off the deck (thanks to Seth and Matt:) So this means he is screaming about every 10 minutes , "mom, I pee outside!!!" And his pants go off and his wee-wee is sticking between the rails on the deck with a stream of pee flowing into the yard. However it takes many attempts for him to actually go, mainly because he just loves the idea of going potty outside. While I am working with Luke, his sister is doing one of two things, either pulling her pants down and peeing too (resulting in the obvious--a mess!) or running towards the front yard resulting in me screaming for her to stop.

We also have a garage that is full of stuff that we are not sure what to do with. Some we hope to sell in a garage sale and the rest consists of projects that are waiting to happen. The most consuming would be the panels of wood and vinyl for our fence (which will be a lifesaver!) But we always seem to have the garage open, and why I am not sure but I know the neighbors are probably not sure what to think. We currently have Lonnie and Debbie's pull behind trailor parked in front of our home with wood in it for the fence too.

Hopefully our neighbors give us a chance though, because behind our "hoosier" appearance is a great family.

That isn't hoosier, that is just the Laughlin nature. We are living it right now! Did you see our front yard?

Hee! Hee! I suppose it would be funny for your neighbors to see Luke peeing off the deck! :)

Funny! I don't think anyone is peeing in our yard-yet-, but our neighbors in our backyard have nothing but a birdbath and one little tree. They dust their outside windowsills weekly and rake each leaf as it blows into their yard. Must I go on? I feel sorry they have to look at the Parmenters yard everyday, maybe that's why they never open their curtains!!!!!! I'm still waiting for pictures to be posted:)
